Kat Baldwin

FOVA Festival Director / Actor / Writer / ANVAM Director

Kat Baldwin has spent her adult life finding rhythm between the military and the arts. From her first dance concert at four-years-old to her final VCE Drama Solo Performance, Kat knew she wanted to be a performer. So, straight after gradutating high school, she joined the Navy. As you do.

Twenty-one years, three transitions, and fifteen relocations later, Kat has finally "settled" in her home state of Victoria and is chuffed to be the Director of ANVAM and the Director of FOVA26.

Kat is enjoying a rhythm between Navy and her passions: the arts and animal welfare. She still renders regular reserve service, alongside ANVAM and volunteer work with PetRescue Ltd. Around the edges, Kat continues to act and direct on stage and screen, keeps fit through pole dancing and is writing her debut novel.
