What’s Where’s Waller? you ask?

The "Where's Waller?" challenge is a fun and engaging way to celebrate the artistic legacy of veteran couple Mervyn Napier Waller and Christian Waller during FOVA25!

Melbourne is home to a large body of their public art with many of their mosaics, murals, stained glass windows, lithographs, and paintings “hiding in plain sight” in the Melbourne CBD and surrounds.

These tips will help you make the most of the challenge:

What: Based on the daily "Where's Waller?" clues, locate the public artwork by Mervyn Napier Waller or Christian Waller in Melbourne CBD and surrounding areas.

When: Each day during FOVA25, a new clue will be posted at 8:00 AM on the FOVA website (fova.org.au).

How:

o   Solve the daily clue to identify the artwork's location.

o   Visit the location, find the artwork, and take a selfie with it.

o   Post your selfie on Instagram with the hashtags #fova25 and #WheresWaller.

Recognition: Special shoutouts will be given during the Live Music at the Shrine event to participants who successfully complete the challenge.

Have Fun: Treat the challenge as a treasure hunt while appreciating the Wallers’ contribution to Melbourne’s cultural landscape.

Good luck with the Where’s Waller? challenge, and enjoy uncovering Melbourne's hidden artistic gems!
