Description

Step into the world of colour, texture and imagination with Veteran Artist Jen Macfarlane. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore key landscape principles and learn how to translate them into your own expressive, abstract mixed-media artwork.

Using Gelli-printed collage papers, you’ll build layered landscapes inspired by real scenes or pure creative instinct. Jen will provide landscape images for inspiration, clear step-by-step guidance for those who want it, and plenty of space to simply play, experiment and discover your own visual style.

Whether you’re a seasoned maker or trying mixed media for the first time, this workshop is relaxed, welcoming and designed for creative exploration. Leave with a vibrant, one-of-a-kind abstract landscape and the skills to keep experimenting long after the session ends.

This workshop is open to the Veteran Community.

What to bring

Dress for mess. Materials are washable and non-toxic, so protective clothing is not a necessity, but we recommend wearing clothes you won't mind getting paint on.
