Description

Learn the beautiful art of leadlight making in this hands-on workshop led by a professional glass artist and teacher. Discover the intricate techniques of cutting glass to a pattern, leading together, soldering the lead joins and much more!


In this small group workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own stunning piece of leadlight art to take home. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience in glasswork, the teacher will guide you through each step, ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment for all.


During the workshop, you will learn how to manipulate glass, work with various tools and materials and gain a deeper understanding of the leadlight making process. The teacher's expertise and experience in glass techniques will ensure that you leave the workshop with newfound skills and knowledge.


At the end of the class, you can take home your unique leadlight panel that you can proudly display in your home.


Room number and teacher details will be provided by Glaas Inc. closer to the workshop date.


This workshop will run from 10am - 3.30pm and will include a 30 minute lunch break. Lunch can be BYO or purchased in the local area; however, food and drink is not to be consumed within the glassmaking room.


This workshop is open to the Veteran Community.

What to bring

Closed-toe shoes and full-length sleeves and pants. All other safety equipment will be provided.
