Glass Fusing Workshop

Join Glaas Inc for a glass workshop. This workshop focuses on glass fusing, suitable for beginners but you are more than welcome to join if you have previous glass experience. In this class, you will cut and assemble your own design to create a piece that will be fused and fired in a kiln.

What to bring:

You do not need to bring equipment.

Due to safety requirements we ask you to wear long sleeves, long pants or skirt and enclosed boots or shoes to protect your feet (from falling glass). Best to tie back long hair, and wearing comfortable clothing is a good idea. There is no eating or drinking on the studio, but water bottles are okay, if you think you may get hungry you can bring a snack to eat outside of the studio. Please bring a water bottle.

Post-Production:

Don't miss the follow-up event on Thursday night at ANVAM, where you collect your creation, attend a talk, and watch a short documentary by Glaas Inc, about historical commemorative stain glass windows in Australia.
