FOVA Family Colour Parade
The FOVA Family Colour Parade will kick-off FOVA25 and celebrate the Veteran Community in a colour-filled parade around The Tan, led by a marching band.
The family-friendly parade is an opportunity for our Veteran Community and wider community to walk together around one of Melbourne's landmarks. Wear colours that reflect your individuality and bring a unique flair to the morning. A marching band will guide the procession, crafting a play on a traditional Marching of the Colours. While wandering through the gardens, you will encounter an abundance of art by veterans.
Following the Colour Parade, you are invited to enjoy what Melbourne has to offer; stay in the parklands with a BYO picnic, head over to ANVAM for the March to Art exhibition featuring artists in our community, or head down to the Southbank Markets.
When: Saturday 22 March, 10:00 for 10:30 step-off

Length of Walk: 3 kilometres (approx.)
Duration: Up to 1 hour
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, clothing appropriate for outdoor weather and water bottle. Colourful clothing, flags and props are encouraged.
